All about Peter…
I’m Peter, I’m married with 3 kids.
Before becoming an instructor I went to university and graduated with a 2:1 Hons in Digital forensics. After university I became a senior Tech support engineer for a global software company. I was made redundant and wanted to look for a job where flexibility was key and as I’ve always enjoyed cars and driving i thought I’d give instructing a go. Once I started training I quickly realised this is the job for me.
I’m a calm and laid back person and as I have 3 kids I have a lot of patience. I also have experience with people who have additional needs as two of my kids have ASD and ADHD. If there is anything else you’d like to know about me just ask and I’d be happy to talk about it.

1. What did you do before becoming a Driving Instructor?
I was a Senior tech support engineer for a global software company.
2. What has been your most interesting moment, while on a driving lesson?
Being able to teach my mum and my best friend how to drive have been my most interesting moments on a lesson so far.
3. What has been your best, personal achievement so far?
Going to university and graduating with a 2:1 Hons in digital forensics has probably been my best personal achievement, that and becoming a dad.
4. Did you pass your Driving Test first time?
Yes, I passed first time with 4 minors I think it was.
5. What hobbies do you have?
I like gaming when I get the opportunity. Sim racing games and some good old fashioned FPS games. I also aim to drive to the Nurburgring for a track day at some point as it’s always been a bucket list hobby event for me.
